So it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. Let’s just say it’s been crazy. I’ve built up a lot of karma lately. I think I might change the name of my blog. Building Up Karma doesn’t really suit me anymore. Perhaps “Bananas” does. XD Yea…Bananas suits lol Maybe “Random Bananas” So this blog is going to be a bit…random. Just going to try and fill in some gaps.
Right now I’m watching my two new ferocious kittens hunt the unsuspecting great moth beast. They’re adorable. We got them about a month ago, their mum abandoned them. Their names are Merlin and Scarlett O’Hara (Scarlett for short) Merlin is my dad’s cat…he’s crazy, and curious. I hope it doesn’t kill him. (oh ha ha I know) Scarlett is….in a word….posh. She’s so stuck up and acts as though she’s spoiled. When really….well no ok she is. She’s the kind of cat that NEEDS to be spoiled. XD Scarlett really suits her. She’s just so cute I can’t help but love her to bits. She’s just saved me from a cricket monster…aww. See? She loves me. ^_^
On to other things.
Well my friends were supposed to come and visit me. We planned it….one month ago. One whole month I gave them to plan it. They did plan it. But right at the end…sure as I knew she would…Padfoot threw a little last minute detail that canceled the whole trip. I think she likes doing that. She’s very good at it. Why on Earth did I expect anything different? Oh well. Higgins was pretty upset. (Higgins = Eric’s new nickname….yes as in Henry Higgins from My Fair Lady) He spent his holiday in the DMV renewing his license. He even texted me about it. Poor thing. But I was ok with it. I had a sort of…bad weekend. But that’s another story. Padfoot apparently got sick over the weekend….I gloated a little then felt really bad. So I sent her an e-card. XD That’s repentance for you right there. Shh-shh that’s our secret.
On to other other things
I went to orientation for my college. That was interesting. Signed up for my classes. See I went to the spring preview day back in Feb. and I couldn’t decide what I wanted my major to be so I just put general. Well I had from Feb. until this past weekend to think it over. I decided that I loved the theatre with all my heart and that I never wanted to leave it again. (“again” meaning that I used to do it but had no self confidence and left) So I chose Drama as my major. I figured if I was rubbish at acting…that I could do what I used to do…tech work. I’m a pretty decent techie. ^_^ So I’m good to go! After that I plan to move to Britain…some how. There are plenty of theatres there. I could do both, tech and acting. If I don’t make it to Britain then oh well. I’m happy here too. Long as I never leave the theatre. Oh! I might have to get an apartment. Yeaaaaa the housing office at my college misplaced several of the applications, not just mine, so they accidentally over booked their dorm rooms. Smooth….smooth. But I can get an apartment. I’m all set for college financially too. Since my dad was in the military, they pay for my tuition and books for four years. As for food and housing…apparently my loving grandmother has had a fund set away since before I was born and it’s been getting bigger. I love my family. They luff me so much! I must send something to grandma nice. Like flowers and a necklace or something. Maybe higher a stripper. LOL We did that for her birthday while she was teaching, she was soooo embarrassed but she laughed. Two choices there. Hmmmmm…..
On to other other other things
I….screwed up my knee. I started to exercise to lose weight, mainly walking. Well around my house it’s pretty hilly. Apparently I….tore my tendons, ripped my ligaments and chipped my knee cap all in one go. I didn’t even know. I just thought my knee was a little. I’ve also got…Osgood Schlatter’s or something like that. Basically means my knees aren’t worth much. I have exercises I’m supposed to do and anti-enflametory to take. Also a cane, and an interesting knee wrap that helps my left knee. It’s all fun. SO MUCH FUN *cough cough* It sucks though…cuz I just wanna shout (in the words of Cambell) “I ain’t gonna take anymore of this here crapola” ….but I have to take it. Oh well. That about sums it all up. Ronica might come over the summer holiday and stay with me for a while, her and Nicky. That rocks. They’re like family, so it’s even more fun.
I’ve been watching a lot of Tennant series, as I have discovered he’s a brilliant actor. My favorites have been “Recovery”, “Casanova” (that was hilarious) and “Blackpool” …I couldn’t watch “Secret Smile” as the main character has the same name as my creepy-ass-uncle-who-gives-the-strong-impression-of-a-petafile/sexual-offender-whom-I’m-glad-isn’t-blood-related-to-me….I just couldn’t watch. This was brought on by a sudden love for Doctor Who. *loves the show* We watch it as a family now. XD I’ve been watching indie films too….those have been fun and I’ll speak on those later but for now I’ve got to go. I’ve got to get up early to clean. UGH.
